You may have noticed at one point or another, many professional women wear black. At first, you may think it is because they want to appear thinner, or accessorize their jewelry but this is not always the case. And, yes it is true that these reasons mentioned are valid, the real reason professional women wear black is so their clients and team members, will shine out before they do.

Think about it. When you get an upscale salon or spa service, most of the highest rated facilities have their professional women wear black. (And before we discredit the male population of black wearing professionals, I want to be clear in saying that this article is also valid to the female counterpart.)

When you have your hair done, if the stylist is wearing black, he or she will be able to spin you around facing the mirror after cutting, coloring or blowdrying your hair and wa-la, you have a beautiful glowing person staring you directly in the mirror. That person is YOU.

When you have a spa service like a massage, the therapist will typically dress in black in order to fade out in the room, while you place your body on the massage table, with the lights dimmed down, the table warmer safely keeping your skin warm and your private areas kept personal. A truth about massage therapists, is not only do they want you to feel as if you are the most important being inside of the massage room, they want you to KNOW you are the most important being inside of the room.

Then there is the professional energy worker. What is an energy worker? It is a Reiki Master, a Tarot card reader, or someone who works with healing your vibe so that you know, you are worthy of clearing and your aura will shine like the rainbow prism that it is.

The crystals that she may work with will sparkle more brightly. The Tarot cards on the black cloth will show up more clearly. The candles in the room will burn a little higher and the area of clearing will be protected as will the practitioner believes in the power of black to protect and serve their client and their space.

If you think this is not true, I highly encourage you to ask one of these professional women what she may think on this subject.

As a 10 year practitoner of several of these professional career fields, I know for, me there is no double I know what I am talking about.
